Tho Monthly'lhetuig. The monthly meeting of the Trustees of the North Waicarapa Benevolent Society was held in theMasterton -' Institute this (Thursday) morning. Present- Messrs R, M. Galloway, (Chairman), W. 11, Beetham and 11. p.Dagg. •• ■■" The minutes of the previous meet* ing werp read and confirmed, ' 'ijie Treasurer reported that £4l 13b 9d had been received from the Charitable Aid Board since last jneeting. Tjie actual balance in the Bank at the present time was £7O Os ,4d. To pay up everything another Aps'l3 Os 7(1 would be required from the Board. This amount had been applied for, but the application had not yet been considered, There were outstanding accounts amounting toJGII3 9s * Correspondence. , THE NOBLE FAMILY. Tho Secretary wsb instructed to take stops to. secure the re-payment of moneys, owing by-Edward Noble on ■ behalf of hia family. 1 . , . POUOB REPORT, ; The police reported on cases of relict' being administered as follows: -Ellen Jackson, 15s a week; S. Clements, 10s; Nora Du Frates, 7s Gd; A. Woavers, 20s; Caroline Neill, 10s; L. Jeukiiis„los; Mr and Mrs Hedger, 103; Mrs Neary, 10a; Charhs Dunn, 7s; William Ford, 7s; Mrs Lyons, 10s j Mis tieeie, ss; 11. Williams and family, 15s. RELIEF DISCONTINUED. The Secretary reported that relief had been discontinued to Mrs Neiil and family, the husband having made the neoesaary provision. ACCOUNTS. Accounts amounting to £ll3 9s lid were passed for payment. The meeting then adjourned.
