A meeting of the Bed Star Football Club was held in the Empire Hotel last evening, there being a good attendance of members. Mr W. Welch resigned as vice-Captain and member of the first fifteen Match Committee, T. Hudson waß elected vice-Captain, and T, Thompson to the Match Committee, Messrs Eenall and Green were elected to the Match Committee of the second fifteen in place of Messrs Ewington and Hansen, It was resolved that the annual ball be held on May 11th. Mr Emraett was elected Secretary of the Ball Committee, whioh is composed as followsMeßßra Pellingham, Boddington, Hoar, Hawke and Hudson, It was decided that ono senior and tiro junior teams be entered for the Cups. The sum of £lO required .by the Park Trustees for the use of wexOyal was considered too much. A match was played at Hawera on Saturday afternoon between the Eketahuna and Tutaekaia Football Clubs, resulting in a victory for the Eketabuna Club by 1 try (scored by A. Foden), after a well contested game. Messrs Roche y.iid Gillon acted as touchline umpires and Mr Bodwill is referee, their decisions giving entire satisfaction, A football match will be played at Eketahuna on Good Friday, between the Eketahuna and Pahialua Cubs.
