Smith, howover, spied a box of Fletcher's bilious and liver pills, and proposed that each time a man was beaten he should take a pill, and this made tho gamo lively, and the fun was fast and furious. Simpson swallowed five, Jones got away with four, and Smith and Hopkins two each, and Mac got off scot free, Tho game terminated by a general exodus at 3 a.m., for Dr Fletcher's pills never labour in vain.
