Upper Taueru Road Board.

The ordinary meeting was held on Saturday, April 2nd, 1892. PresentMessrs Maoßae, Rutherford, Miller and Perry. Mr Rutherford was elected Chairman pro ten), The minutes of the previous meet ing were read and confirmed, CORRESPONDENCE. From the Bank of New Zealand acknowledging receipt of £llßs 4d to credit of Public account. From Treasury acknowledging the receipt of £2015s 4d, being interest t on Loan for the half year. ?)f* From Mr E, A. Nicholls, enclosing cheque for rates, From Mr A. G. Wakelin, requesting the services of the roadman to fall the scrub and form a bridle track on the Mungerai Road line from his' ' whare to the crossing of the Mungerai Eiver about 35 chains, as it is im* possible to gel a horso along tho road in its present condition, RESOLVED, That the roadman and his assist'' ant continue with the work on the Mungerai Road line until the next meeting of the Board to enable them to complete tbo bridle track as fas as Mr McGovern's. That the application of Messrs McKay and Wakelin to form a bridle track from tho other end of the Mungerai Road line be considered at the next meeting, That accounts amounting to £l2 2s be passed for payment.
