[To the Editor, J Sib,—Residents of Ekelahuu<v are being much annoyed of late by other people's pigs and poultry (to say nothing of cows and horses) straying into their back' premises and making a meal of the flowers and vegetables. Some time ago a ranger was appointed and instructed to shoot any small game roaming at large in our town* ship and impound the larger kind. 1 Perhaps he has not got a gun, X have not heard any reports nor even aoSn the ranger. If such is the case he hall better apply to tho Wnirarapa North County Council and that philanthrophic body will no doubt forward the weapon by return of post, Failing this we shall have to get up a. subscription litt and buy " one, ; lor something must be done, and done speedily to abate the nuisancer laflij'&c,, • Waiting and Watohing,
