SHOCKING ACCIDENT.
A Man Hipped Asunder. Bv Telegraph—Own Correspondent, Pahiatua, Tuesday, A man named Stewart, supposed to be a recent arrival from Canterbury met with a shocking accident this afternoon, whilst working on Williams Brothers' formation contract. He was getting metal wliea a heavy stone became del ached and fell upon him, hurling him over a precipice against a stump, which completely ripped hira up. The poor fellow died almost immediately.
