I branded and earmarked them on the 22nd inst, Constable Cooper, Mr Dick and his son came to Bal> lance and claimed two of the calves as Mr Dick's property. 1 handed them over to tho police. I saw them this morning at the polio; station, I could swear to the heifer, but was not positive as to the steer, At this stage (midnight) the Court adjourned until Monday next,
