Wesleyan Conference.
i SATURDAY, MARCH 5. The Conference sat on Saturday **< morning in the schoolroom in ministerial session, ■■ On the motion of the. Rev Wi Morley a resolution was carried of deep sympathy with the Victoria and Tasmania Conferon.ee in the heavy loss sustained during the past year by the deaths of President Bigg and Rev T. Williams, a very high tribute being liaid to ilia lino giftii possessed by both the deceased, The Conference also placed on record its deep sense of the loss sustained by'the whole of tho Australasian Slethodist Church by the death of the Rev DtKelnacb, tbs President of the General Conference. He was *■' a man of splendid gifts, which were used in illustrious service in the various departments ot Church woi%, _ The Rev T. J. Burrows, a;proba« tioner of the fourth year, came up for oral examination, which was con* ducted by the Revs W. 6. Parsonson and W, G, Mnrton, The report of the Board of Examiners, on Mr Burrows' .written examination showed that he'had gained an average oE 88 per cent of marks. Mi 1 Burrows was ■ very heartily received into full ministry,, and his ordination was fixed for to-day, Mr J, A. Uiump, a candidate for the ministry, was. examined by the Rev W, Morley, and on-the vote of •>' :/ ihej Conference was-accepted for ; training at Three Kings,
