A New South Wales exohange says;— "On Tuesday afternoon, while Mr Bullock was working in the garden at Tenterfield Station; he waabittenon the little finger by a black; snake. - Re promptly applied a ligature and 'suoked the punqturea, and camo into town to Dr Morice. The action of the poison was •so great that he was completely prostrated when he arrived at the doctor's residence. Mr Bullock is of the late firm of Bullock Bros,, booksellers,, &0,, of Lambton Quay, Wellington. He is now head gardener at Tenterfield Station.
