Salo of Work,
The sale of work, in aid of the Wesleyan Circuit funds is so far a gratifying BUCORS3. It was opened at two o'clock yesterday by Mr W, Beotham, who took occasion to congratulate the . ladies on the display of goods, at the jflk same time expressing hia sympathy *j with all such movements. The young ladies' cookery competition stall was at its best muoh admired, hat the work of demolition soon began and by closing time it was completely wrecked, The two central stalls were very tastefully arranged, and did a very good trade durins; the day, The refreshment stall was loaded with good things, aud was well patronised. A flower stall, electrifying maehine, air gun, Yankee bank, and the strains of swoet music made up tho attractions of the day, Pearson's Brass Band discoursed excellent music in Ihe evening, and brought up a large number of people. Thu sale of work will be opened this evening at seven o'clock. The admission will beCd, whioh will be returned to purchasers.
