Broach of Promise Case.
Inveroaroill, February 12, - The Court was occupied this afternoon with a breach of promise oaso, Valontine v. M'Kellop, a claim for £2OO, but it was not conoluded. Tho engagement of the parties was admitted, but it was aougbb to show that the plaintiff was a person of loose morals, Letters, in which compromising statements were made, and alleged to havo been written by the plaintiff to a former'lover, were pro* duccd, but she denied that she wroto them, and assorted tlut her writing was imitated,
