'Mr J, loms reports of his fort" nightly sale at Pahiatua on Saturdny: —The entries comprised 2000 sheep and 120 head of cattle, all classes. The tone of the "market was firmer than that of last sale, all lines changing hands. Beef, 15s and 14a per 1001b; mutton 2Jd. Fat cows, 80a to 87s; bullocks, 1003; store bullooks 80s to 85s; small steers, 50s to 60s; yearlings, 40s to 455; calves, 255; wethers, 10s 6d lo lis; forward ewes 9b ; young breeding ewes, lis 6d; aged ewes, 6s 6d to 9s; woolly lamlis, 7s to 7s 9d; shorn lambs, 6s to 6s 6d,
