Apotuer shocking case of alcoholism, resulting fatally, is reported from Hastings. The deceased was Mrs Eihott , whoso husband is now in the Argentine, isouth America. At the inquest, the jury returned a verdict that '" deceased | died tjjrousb paralysis of th,e brain and ! heart, caused through chronic alcohol* ism." In her room, where she was found dead, was discovered a pint bot half full of spirits. ".'
