An Interesting Analysis'

An analysis of the exhibits at the Maslerton and Carterton just been framed by Mr W. Sellar, which will be read with interest by residents of the Lower Valley. It shows that in nearly every class of exhibits the Master ton Show compared favorably with that at Carterton. In thoroughbred horses there were eight exhibits at Masterton, two of which only came from Carterton, whilst at Carterton there were twelve exhibits, two being from Masterton. In draughts : 64 entries at Masterton, 8 being from Carterton ; at Carterton 56 entries, 18 being from Masterton. Miscellaneous : 76 entries at Masterton, 3 from Carterton ; at Carterton 152 entries, 26 from Masterton. Hunter's competition : 14 entries at Masterton, 1 from Carterton ; at Carterton, 9 entries, 3 from Masterton.
