We copy the following prospectus, which is now being circulated in Wellington, of the Wellington Newspaper Printing and Publishing Company, (Limited.) : —Capital, £12,000. In twelve thousand shares of £1 etch, payable as follows :2s on application, 2s on allotment, and the balance in calls not exceeding Is per share, at intervals of not less than one month. The objects ot the Company are : 1. To establish a Daily Evening Newspaper in Wellington,such Newspaper to be a bona jidt Liberal organ, and an advocate of the interests of Labour.

2. To acquire by purchis# on valuation, the business of the 'Wairarapa Star,' etc., which paper will be a branch of the town journal. 3. To carry on the business of General Printers and Publishers.

I he necessity for the establishment in Wellington of such a newspaper as proposed is considered by the promoters so obvious as to need no arguments in its favour.

Several M.H.R.'s who support the policy of the present Government have agreed to take up shares. In addition to which Mr Smith will take up 500 paid up shares, and Mr Hogg 500 paid jip shares. All employes will be required to tafe up shares in the Company. The Trades and Labour Council has pledged itself to give every assistance, and will push the sale of shares, circulation, end businees amongst Unionists and synipaibiserp. It is anticipated, from the offers pi support already received, that a very remunerative business will be done by the Company.
