EKETAHUNA RACING CLUB.

The adjourned meeting of the Eketahuna Racing Club was held in MrAnderson's Hall on Friday evening Mr Selby in the chair. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.

The Committee appointed to inspect the different local grounds presented their report. They reported thai Mt A. Anderson's ground could not be got on satisfactory terms, but that a ground could be got in Messrs Macara and Youog's paddocks, providing they got permission on satisfactory terms.—lt was resolved to write to Messrs Macara and Young on the subject. It was also resolved that Messrs Macara and Young's paddock be accepted if satisfactory arrangements could be made.

The Secretary, Mr F. D. Pelling, was instructed to arrange and see when the next meeting is to be held. Mr Sheehyn's name was added to the Ground Committee.

The following new members were elected : —Messrs Sheehyn, Ashmore, and Devonshire.

A vote of thanks to Mr Anderson for the use of the hall and to Mr Selby as Chairman closed the meeting.
