It is rumoured that an arrest has been made in connection with the fatal accident which occurred to the Cznr'B train near Borki, on the Kharkoff railway, in October, 1888.

The train ran off the rails while travelling at the rate of 42 miles an hours, large numbers of attendants and officials being either killed or injured. The Imperial family bad a marvellous escape.

Ac first the accident was said to be the work of Nihilists, but it was afterwards attributed to the high speed of the train travelling over rotten sleepers.
