MASTERTON HOSPITAL.
Er tfaczregor's Report.
The following report on the Masterton Hospital has been furnished the House by Dr Macgregor, Inspector of Asylums and Hospitals:—l inspected this Hospital 011 the 18th February, 1891, and found everything m satisfactory order. The patients were well cared for in every respect. The one weak spot is that two married couples are employed where one couple ought to be sufficient; or, to speak more accurately, the wife of the warder, Mr Williams, liyes in the Hospital without having any definite hospital duties. It would be bettor to have only one couple. Dr Hosking is a skilful surgeon and yery attentive to his patients, while Mr Williams, the warder, performs his duties most faithfully, and takes a great interest in the garden and grounds.
