At a meeting of the Trades Council, a resolution was carried that in .the interests ctf Trades Unions it is advis* able to establish a Liberal newspaper in eaoh of the four centresin the colony, and a Committee was appointed to asoertain what measure of support they would be likely to receive from tho4Q various Unions, ■ ■• i The Weather. He reports being thrown from his horse on the beach on Wednesday and remembers nothing until he found himself at sea on a log. He remained on the log till it floated near land and then swam ashore.
