E. P. Slavin, the Australian pugilist, who was recently declared a bankrupt, has paid his creditors in full, with four per cent, interest, and an application to have the bankruptcy annulled has been granted. In the City Court to-day, Patrick Foley, M.P. for Connemara, was summoned by the Wandsworth Guardian, for refusing to pay for the support of his wife, who is in the workhouse. The case was adjourned.
