North Wairarapa Benevolent Society.
The monthly meeting of the above Society was held in the Council Chambers on Thursday last, August 13tb. The frensurer reported a credit balance at the Bank of New Zealand of £26 15s, per cash book £l7 14a 6d and outstanding accounts £9 65., Since last meeting £4113s 4d had been received from the United District Board, and £3 16s had been refunded by W. H. Robinson. Outstanding accounts amounting to £46 18ss 5d were passed for payment when funds are afailable. Correspondence was received and dealt with, certain applications for relief being "held owr ; -tras "P«?t meeting for fuller information regarding then 1 to be obtained.
