Mr. P. H. Wood reporto of hU stock sale held at his Taratahi yards yesterday as follows.— There was a large attendance of buyers considering the number of stock entered. The demand evidently exceeded the supply, both in sheep and cattle. Prices realized are as follows; Sheep, store ewes, culls, 8/6 ; ewes in lamb to Lincoln rams, - is/., lambs. 10/3. n/a; »««-«> , , Cattle—calves, 19/- ; yearling steers and heifers, 30/. : dairy cows, tO/- to 164/-.
