(press association.) Atlasxrato Sulsscriljers. Invercargill, July 29. At the Police Court to-day Lindley . Bowerman sued Thomas Lampert, hotel-keeper, for £25 16s, damages sustained in consequence of loss on the 13th May of a buggy from defendant's premises, while plaintiff was a lodger in the Drummond Hotel and the buggy in defendant's custody, he having negligently suffered it to be stolen. Bowerman was engaged in the delivery of the Atlas in the district at the time, and it is supposed some irate subscribers made away jffith the trap, no trace of which has since been found. Moore, the owner of the buggy, rtcovered the amount now sued for from Bowerman. On ) the application of defendant the case was adjourned to 12th August.
