Dunedin, July 27, At the inquest on David Scott, shunter, the eyidence showed that the deceased, wishing to put the brake on a truck, ran after it and crossed in front when he slipped. There was no necessity to put the brake on, but ,'iffj deceased had thought there was, be could have crossed at the back of the truck, which was only travelling about one and a half miles an hour.
