Deputation to Ministers. Wellington, Friday. A deputation of flax millers was introduced to the Premier and Minister for Lands last evening by Mr Macdonald, M.11.R. Matters relating to the flax industry were discussed. The deputation particularly urgedupon the ministers the desirableness of offering a bonus for the production of better samples of flax, and also appointing an inspector to examine shipments before they leavathe colony. The Premier said he would give the suggestion every consideration, and was understood to look with favour upon the views held by the deputation with reference to the question of a bonus.
