The sixth annual ball in connection with the Masterton Volunteor Brigade is to be held in the Drill Hall on August sth. A strong and influential committee of ladies and gentlemen has been formed to carry out the derails, so that the success of the gathering is ensured. We need hardly remind uur readers of the annual Volunteer Ball to be held in the Masterton Drill Hall to-morrow (Thursday) evening. The hall haj been decorated in a most elaborate style, the floor ia in capital condition, the music is to bo of the very highest class, and, indeed, everything necessary to make the gatlwrin? the most successful oyer held, has been done.
