The teams of the Masterton and Red Star Clubs which play on Saturday for the Senior Cup on the Park Oval are the same as those which met on Saturday last. The match is expected to be exceedingly close. Betting is slightly in favor of Masterton.
The following ia the Grey town Ist team that plays Te Ore Ore Ist at Masterton : Backs, Nioholls, Lucena, Baumber, MeCarty, Tate, A. Udy, A. MoMaster; forwards, Amos, E. tTdy, J l Beard, Tyler, McKenzie, H. and A. Mitchell, Tuboro. Emergencies, backs, Kees ; forwards, Dockery, A. B9ard. A brake will leave the Post Office corner at a quarter to one sharp.
In.view of the proposed match with the Hawke's Bay representatives, the Wairafapa reps, should lose no time in securing a combined practice match. They will have to face a formidable team.
The second heat for the Silver Cap presented to the Bed Star Football Club ib to be ran on Saturday.
