The nurse's statement of the confeffim made to her by the deceased was a confirmation of the declaration befofe.Dr Tripe. Sergeant-Major Anderson deposed to finding certain articles in the possession of Mrs Peyman. The juryf returned the .following verdict: "That Emily Kate Ppicer . came by,her death at the hands of Caroline we- record a verdict of wilful murder against the said Caroline -Peyman J'
