EKETAHUNA—FRIDAY, (Bs£ Colonel Roberts, R.M.) Constable Boache v. George Edmorid,—Breach of the Wheel-tires Bfejaw. Defendant pleaded guilty, butwished to hear the informations. Eli Smith deposed that he saw the defendant driving five horses on the date named in the information. The defendant: Why is not a notice placed on the Alfiedton road ? Witness: It is on the Ihurana Bridge. Constable Boache, sworn, deposed that he was last year Inspector under the Wheel-tire Act, but he had received no notice this year. In, his defence the defendant stated that he was informed that the law would not be enforced at present. A fine of 2s 6d and Court costs 9s was inflicted.
