St Petersburg, May 20. Thousands of Russian Jews are desirous of adopting the Lutheran religion, but the edict issued by the Czar forbids them making a confession of faith until the year's probation has expired. It is Russian subjeots, not Jews, who are being deported to Siberia. A third of the 15,000 are prisoners, i ie remainder being their wives and i'aimlies, wbo are accompanying them.

Fears are entertained that a revolution will be tho outcome of the action of the regency towards ex-Queen Natalie. Numbers of the elite of Belgrade have crossed over to Selim. and proffered boquets to the ex Queen May 21. Ex-Queen Natalie will appeal to the Supreme Court and demand reparation for the deprive of her civil rights. The cessation of popular resistance of Queen Natalie from Bulgaria was due to the Government spreading a false report that the order for her expulsion had been withdrawn. The garrison in Belgrade has been reinforced, as it is feared that the peasantry will attempt to overthrow the Government.
