TROTTING CLUB.

A meeting of members of iko Wuirarapa Trotting Club was helt"at the Club Hotel, Masterton, on Saturday; evening- last, Mr C. A. Pownall m the chair. Between thirty and forty members wore present. The minutes of the previous meetiug were confirmed, and tho report of the sub-committee adopted. It was decided that the Olubbe named "The Wairarapa Trotting The rules of tho Metropolitan Club were adopted without alteration. The registry of the Club was fixed for the Club Hotel, Masterton, The following officers wore eleotids —President, Mr H G Williams j vico Presidents, Messrs A W Hogg M.H.R; and T E Chamberlain; ■ delegates, H G Williams and' C A Pownall; Secretary, W R Bone ; Treasurer, Mr Fraser ; Clerk of Course, Mr K Bannister ; Stewards, tho President, vicePresidents and Messrs Walked, Shaw, Hessey, Yates, Fraser, Pownall, and McXjauchlin, with power to add to their number, Tho appointment o{

judge, starter, timekeeper, and clerk of scales was left with the Stewards. It wa3 proposed that the Stewards affiliate with the Metropolitan Club at any time they may think proper. It was decided that all future members be elected by the Stewards, and that any necessary busiuess be transacted by them until the annual general meeting in 1892. The annual subscription was fixed at 10s 6d. The Secretary reported that the membership had increased to ninetytwo, including a number of South Wairarapa sportsmn.e The meeting then adjourned.
