WHOLESALE SUICIDE.
The present generation of mankind seems determined to proceed along the path ihat leads to death—the one that will kill it quickest. The struggle for existence, business worry, gambling, horseracin? and all nervous excitements, tend to reduce the vital strength and ensure early death. Now-a-days it is the pace that kills ;. the body is worn out before its natural spell of life is spent. There is no reason why all men and , women—physically perfect—should not ' Jive to be centenarians, provided care I was taken that the system was not overtaxed in any particular direction. The symptoms of tailing vitality are almost too well known to neud enumeration here ; first the appetite fails, with paiu after eating, nervousness ensues, and sleepless or restless nights with headaches and tired aching limbs on rising in the morning ; a confirmed languor or lassitude takes possession of the sufferer, who loses all interest in pleasure and even in life itself. Unfortunately such oases are only too common, such experiences come to every man, and on the first approach of such sure signs of strength's failure,
recourse must be had to a remedy to restore the failing vitality or quickly he sinks into the everlasting "forevermore." Such cases, if treated in time, quickly yield to Clement's Tonic. Long standing cases require protracted treatment, but in all curable cases Clements' Tonic will quickly re invigorate the system, rpstore the vim and spirit of youth, build up new bone,
muscle and nerve tissue, create ati appetite and properly digest and assimilate food. This is no boast, Clements Tonic is genuine, that it will do the good its manufacturers claim for it, has been proved in thousands of cases, as in that of W. H. uram, Esq., Crook well, M.S-W., who* writes :—" For nine months I have used Clements Tonic and have great pleasure in giving my testimony as to its great eflkacy and wonderful curative effects on the nervous system. I have frequently left the office with severe headache and despondency, due to excessive mental labor, have been unable to take any food and had no appetite, and in every ;aßp a dose of Clements Touic lias quickly removed tlm melancholy, created an appetite and caused mc to relish a meal. I have so much faith in Clements' Toniu that I can conscientiously recommend it to professional men and brain workers generally. I have seen it used for children with best results, and as for myself I wouli not be without it in the house." And Mr Bobert A. Luckham, travelling representative of the Sydney BitlMiit, a gentleman known in almost every city, town and village in Australia, testifies to the value of Clements' Tonic thus : " Bulletin office, Sydney. —lt affords me much pleasure to be able to testify to the many admirable qualities of Clements' Tomc ; having used it for a short time I found my strength wonderfully restored. J had been suffering from extreme nervous debility, from which 1 have now quite recoyered, I considered Clements Tonic a great tone-giving and delight* fully refreshing stimulant."
