[Per Press Association.] Breaking ani Entering. Dunedin, May 6. A young man named Edward Martin, who says he is 17, but looks younger, was captured to-night break* ing into Gable's produce store in George street. A bnncb of keys of variotn sizes was found oa him. The police believe that all the recent burglaries were committd by him. He has been before the Court before for stealing. Auckland Licensing Election. Auckland, May 6. The city licensing elections resulted in large majorities for the moderate party. In Ponsonby Ward the con test was the closest. The average majority for tho moderates there is 100, or about last year's majority. All tbe wards voted against any increase of publicans' licenses.
