The following are tho particulars of the Greenwood shooting affair: To-day he left his house, saying he was going to catoh his horse to go to town. He was absent some time, and Mrs Greenwood sent her youngest son, a boy of 18 or 14 years, to assist. The boy found that the horse with the bridle on was tied to the wall, but the same moment he heard a shot fired and saw his father fall. Greatly (Tightened, he ran to a neighbor, who came and saw that Mr Greenwood had Bhot himself through tho temple, blowing his brains out. He was about 54 years of age, and leaves a wife and also ten children, four of whom are married. He was choirman of SQme local bodies.
