Mr F. H. Wood reports, of his stock sale held at-Taratahi yesterday as follows :—-The attendance of buyers iwas exceptionally good, and bidding !was spirited throughout, the yards being filled to their utmost capacity both with sheep and cattle. The following is a quotation of. prices: Sheep—store wethers lis 3d to 13s 7d, merino do 6s id, store ewes 8s to lis 4d, breeding do 8s 3d to 13s, 2 tooth Lincoln do 11b 4d, lambs in the wool 8s 4d to 8s 6d, do shorn 8s lOd to 9s, colled do 4s lid, 2 tooth Lincoln rams 2to 3+ guineas. Cattle—calves los to 275, yearlinejs 30d, 2 year old steers 61s, steers and heifers 50s to 72a 6d, heifers 45s to £5, dairy cows £3 to £4 ss; Pigs—weaners 12s 6d, sows 80s.
