The Societe Depot 3 Courants is stated to be in difficulties, owing to the financial crisis in the Argentine Republic. M. Boiiviar, Minister of Finance, has requested the Bank of France to advance sixty million francos pending a joint guarantee from the various banks.

The Societe Depots will enter into liquidation after the payment of depositors' claims. The Wood Paving Company in this city hid suspended payment. The liabilities amount to about 3,000,01)0 lrances.
