A general meeting of the Club was held at Stewart's Hotel on Friday evening, Mr J. Godfrey in the chair. The finances of the Club were on a fairly satisfactory footing, so it was decided to continue the present subscription of 5s and 2s Gd for juniors. Intending members subscription w 3 also fixed at ss. The following officers were appointed tor the ensuing season: Patron, Mr A. W. Hogg, M.n.R.; President, Mr G. H. Smith; VicePresidents, Messrs G. Moore, J. Breeds, G. Avery, W. Tosswill; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr J. Godfrey; General Committee, Messrs Howell, Gosling, Vile, Jenssen, and Blair ; Delegates to Union, Mr F. H. Vile, and the Captain and Secretary, The appointment of the Match Committee and also of the Captain was left till tii3 first scratch match by which time it was intimated all subscriptions should be paid. It was decided to open the season on good Friday and if possible to arrange a friendly game with the Tutaekara natives for that day. The Club will be dressed in fancy costume on the occasion. Messrs Reynolds, Blair, Kempton, Jenssen and Eaton were elected members of the Club. It was decided to hold a footballers, ball on the Queen's Birthday in the Public Hall. A committee consisting of Mesers Jenssen, Tosswill, Godfrey, Smith, Vile and Howell were ap pointed to make all necessary arrangements. The Club will endeavor to have a good match played in Pahiatua in the afternoon of the Queen's Birthday.
