MASTERTON HOSPITAL.

The monthly meeting of the Hospital Trustees was held on Thursday. Present —Messrs J. C. Boddington (Chairman), J, B. Keith, Joseph lorns and Kev, W. E. Paige. Correspondence inwards From Clerk Pahiatua County Council ■with reference to an ex-patient who wished to bere-admitted.-rThe Trustees in reply desired to be infSS&ed of the nature of the complaint "fne man is now suffering from, the memo from the Pahiatua County Council not giving any information on the subject they are unable to form an opinion as to whether he is a fit patient for admission under the rules of the institution. The Hospital diary was read to the meeting, and the number of patients reported as 5. Since last month seven.men were admitted and eight i discharged. It was decided to bring npafull report of all patients in arrear in a week's time, for the purpose of talring immediate steps for the recovery of amounts owing. Accounts amounting to £l9 Is lOd were passed for payment. Mr "W. H. Beetham was appointed visiting member and the meeting closed.
