The shipping Federation.

[ The Shipping Federation experi- ■ ence no difficulty in working 13 ships at Albert Dosks, which were blocked by the Waterside Unions. Owing to the difficulty with the Unions a Cardiff shipping firm, with a capital of £600,900, has resolved to remove to Antwerp. March 4. The dockers are returning to work. They have withdrawn their delegates from the Joint Labour Committee, and refuse to join a general strike. The strikers at Cardiff are appealing to the Shipping Federation to arrange a settlement of the dispute. Fifteen, out of sixty blast furnaces have been re-dit, The shipping strike js spreading northwards. The port of Aberdeen is now blocked. Efforts are being. made to induce Mr Goschsn to act as Chairman of the Labour Commission. Brisbane, March 5. The Bockhampton Labour Council has issued a general appeal for assistance for the shearers.
