Messrs. Lowes and lorns report at their sale of stock at Pahiatua on Saturday Inst the list embraced 3,500 sheep of all classes, cattle, horses etc and all with the exception of a few head of cattle selling at the following rates: 600 store wethers 10a 7d ; 300 store wethers 8s lOd to 10s; 300 Lincoln ewes at 9s 7d; 300 crossbreds at 6s ; 500 culled awes 3s 3d to 5b ; lambs 4s to 6s ; rams 21s. Fat cows 60s; heifers 503; mixed cattle 40s to 50s.
