The heayiesli rain that has fallen here for a long time has done so within the last few days. The whole ooantry is m a state of flood. I noticed the piles of a proposed building on the main road in front of the school just showing above the water.

Sedcole, J D Wilson, V Meckalick, A Tuckey, J Dawson, F Futcher, W Eager. County— Messrs A Birnie, J Dawson, W Eager, J Jessop, E Naylor, A W Sedcole. J Siqgleton, Arthur Tuckey, and Alex Yule. The elections take place on the 23rd inst.
