THE MACQUARRIE DISASTER
Return of the Sinomoa. No Trace of the Sakanul. [By Telegraph.] (United Press Association.) Invercargill, Saturday. The Hinemoa has returned to the Bluff. She could find no trace of the Kakanui. Wellington, Saturday. Captain Fairchild telegraphs to the Marine Department;—" Made careful search of both Campbell and Auckland Islands, steaming right round both and going into every harbor and bay, but found nothing belonging to the Kakanui or any trace of her."
