PAHIATU A—T CESD AY. (Before Colonel Roberts R.M.) CIVIL CASES. Birnie v King. Judgment summons. Adjourned till next Court day. Smith v Reardon. Claim £l2 17s 9d for busbfalling, Mr Gould for plaintiff, Mr Smith for defendant. The defence to the claim was that the plaintiff was a partner. After a quantity of contradictory evidence the case was adjourned on the application of the defendant. Miller, the superintendent of the bushfelling was absent. The proceedings in two other esses were cancelled. ASSAULT. Smith v'Reardon, Assault. Mr Gould for plaintiff, Mr Smith lor defendant. Mr Smith contended that the proceedings were out of order, as the case was adjourned till die 19th of January. Through the Clerk's absence there was no sitting that day.
