LAND BOARD.

The adjourned meeting of the Wellington Land Board was held at noon on Saturday at the offices of the Board, Provincial Buildings, those present being Mr J. W. A. Murohant (Commissioner), Messrs W. Af Fitzherbert, W. W. and D. H. Macarthur, M.H.R. The Boaid approved of eight applications to transfer, subject to the usual conditions. Mr S. Hommingway made application to transfer Seotion 681 Block XIV., Mangahao, to W. A. Tripe, but the Board asked for further information to be furnished before granting it. In reference to an application of Mr H. Millet to transfer Section 46, Block X, Mangahao to A H Pearoeyi the Board resolved to ask the rangor to report on the case.

Mr E Baucke renewod his applica» tion to transfer Section 47, Block XIV, Mangahao, to G Nerry, but consideration was postponed to the next meeting. Mrs D Morrison again asked to be allowed to hand over Section 55, Block XII, Makuri, to G B Riohardson, but the matter was deferred to the next meeting, Eighteen applications for titles and four applications to capitalise were approved. The Board decided that Mr N H Macdonald should bo informed that his application to obtain his title to Section 37, Block X, Mangahao, was not approved.
