From a good start Comet got the lead, which he maintained till half distance' had been reached. Here he was challenged by Wanderer, but the latter was" done" before he roached the straight, and Frolio took bis place. A grand race then ensued between Frolio and Comet, the two running neck and neck up the straight, both boing under the whip, Just before reaching the post Comet mado a spurt and drawing out won by nearly half a length amidst great enthusiasm, Time, 2 min, 10 sec.
