The statutory f rarapa South County Council'was' held on Saturday, there being present Crs H. E. Buuriy (Chairman), A. Matthews, W.Cundy, W. Booth, H. Braithwaite, J, Martin,o.-Elgar, and W.C.Buchanan.' ;.;.:. On tho motion of Cr Cundy, •' seconded by Cr Booth, Cr Bunny was re-elected Chairman for the ensuing ■year. The minutes of tho provious mooting wero read and coufirmed. Cr Bunny thanked the Council for > tho .confidence placed in,him -in re-electing him Chairman. The Returning Officer read tho report'in , reference to the election of and also gave a financial report andT ;some other items in referenceJa the Charitable Aid Board.
