Opening of too FahlatuaLodgg. The opening of the new Masonic Lodge at Pahiatua on Wednesday was witncßsed by a largo gathering of Brethren, and was carried out with great ceremony. The consecration and installation of officers \hb performed by the Grand Master (Bro. Henry Thompson) assisted by other Grand Lodge officers. v Tho Grand Master, [attended,' by' the Grand Secretary (Bro. Itonaldson), the Grand Chaplain (Bro, Paige), and other officers, was received by the brethren at 8 p.m., after which the imposing ceremony of consecration was performed by, tho Grand Master. This was followed by the installation of the officers of the now Lodge, also performed by the Grand Master in a voryablo manner. After the closing of the Lodge a banquet liqs held in the public hall. In responding to a toast, the Grand Master said he believed his.term of office would Kpire this year, and that Lord pnslow would accept the position of jrand Master as -his successor, tlib iealiog the breach: that [at present •'asted between tho various Grand Lodges.
