A meeting of the Eketahuna, School Committee \yas held on Monday, Jlpvemßer 10th. Present-Messrs % Bayliis, (chairman), W. Bayliss. Neilsori and Breninuul,
The minutes of the previous meeting, were read and confirmed. The Chairman rqenjipned (hat the timber was on fhe ground for the erection of gates fa, but all that had jjecn recejved from subscription ljsts in aid of the work was S»\, with a promispof an. additional ss, That being so there was pot sufficient funds to go on with the work, It was resolved that the subject stand over fill next meeting. The head teaser reported that there were 160 on the books. The average attendance last month was only 119, owing to the wet weather. There was also a leakage in the roof,' but Mr Dauioll had promised to see to it.
