FATAL ACCIDENT.
AWagfton Upsots. Tao Driver Killed. A sad fatal accident occurred near Mastertoii this morning. Mv Albert Spackman, a driVer'who is well known in this district,'was proceeding to Pahiatua with a load of furniture on one of Mr T. P. Lett's waggons. Ho had just crossed the bridge at the Euamalmnga, when bis horses' must have taken fright and the whole concern was precipitated down the embankment. When discovered Mr Spackman was under the furniture, which waS:Scattered in all directions, and ho was quite dead, Information was brought to the police, and Bar geant Trice immediately despatched a constable to the scene of the accjdent, jjhe remains wore brought in to the residence of the deceased, where they will await a coroner's inquest, The news of the untimely end of this old and much respected roaident has caused profound regret turougliouttlie district:
