ROAD BOARD.
The usual meeting of tho Mauricevillo Road Board was held on Saturday, September 27tli. Present —Messrs Gunderson (chairman), Jackson, Drew, Jepsen, and Forsberg, The minutes of the previous meeting and correspondence outwards having been read, correspondence inwards was read:-From Messrs Heckler, Fildersley, Gumming, Budden, McGruddy and Barraud, requesting that moneys accruing from their sections be expended solely on Central Mangamahoe road. From Commissioner of Crown Lands re deferred payment thirds, ... From Messrs Perry, Drew, Kean, Power, and Wilton ro loan for Dreyer's Eock Bond extension, From Messrs P. and 6. Lawson, Sphow, and Eorsberg re loan for Mount Munro road.

Jtwas agreed to take the necessary steps to raise a Joan pf LI2QO for Dreyer's Eock Eoad extension and Wangaebu road, and also a loan of L3OO for Mount Munro West road, It was also resolved to call for tenders for tho following works Fencing Jackson's road to connection with West -Maurice villo road, forming Hayne's road, felling;bush on MacKay's road, and forming 40 chains on West Maurioevjljo. road.
